With growing media opportunities and limited team capacity, we were asked to assess The Zacharius Trust’s current PR activities, resources and channels and look at how we could help raise the profile of The Zacharius Trust speakers by engaging new audiences through a more diverse range of media outlets, and brainstorming creative ways to engage the media.
Working closely with the Media and Marketing Director we conducted a full assessment of past media activity, and looked into potential news stories, resources and features. We designed a strategic and creative PR plan and media activity chart for the year ahead, identifying key campaigns and mapped possible news agenda, which also enabled us to respond to both reactive and proactive opportunities and engage a boarder range of key media outlets.
We have expanded the range of media outlets The Zacharius Trust are now engaged with and set up a number of strategic meetings including national media, in order to profile speakers and build key media relationships for future opportunities.
We identified key outlets and areas where we could offer the Zacharius Trust speakers as spokespeople into certain topics and worked alongside their media team to explore engagement opportunities.
